high speed artwork..

One of the many interesting things occur when you bring together something that’s known for elegance and speed, and a form of expression that holds no boundaries. BMW uses their new 2010 Z4 as a brush on a canvas the size of a football field. Bringing in modern artist Robin Rhode along with a group of technicians, taking the Z4 and customizing it with adjustments that spray paint from the wheels. Presenting the world with “An Expression of Joy”.

Obama Spider Man Comic...

With the Obama fever soon to hit a pinnacle next week, the president to-be and his childhood love of Marvel Comics resulted in the release of a special edition of The Amazing Spider-Man for issue #583. The comics storyline features attempts by the Chameleon to ruin Obama’s inauguration day only for Spider-Man to come in and save the day (no surprises there right?). The comic book was officially released on Wednesday, January 14th and largely sold-out however a massive amount have made their way to eBay.

I robot?? Run..

Japanese scientists have unveiled the most human-looking robot yet - a "female" android named Repliee Q1Expo.
She has flexible silicone for skin rather than hard plastic, and a number of sensors and motors to allow her to turn and react in a human-like manner.
She can flutter her eyelids and move her hands like a human. She even appears to breathe.
Professor Hiroshi Ishiguro of Osaka University says one day robots could fool us into believing they are human.
Repliee Q1Expo is not like any robot you will have seen before, at least outside of science-fiction movies.
She is designed to look human and although she can only sit at present, she has 42 actuators in her upper body, powered by a nearby air compressor, programmed to allow her to move like a human.
We have found that people forget she is an android while interacting with her
Prof Hiroshi Ishiguro"I have developed many robots before," Repliee Q1Expo's designer, Professor Ishiguro, told the BBC News website, "but I soon realised the importance of its appearance. A human-like appearance gives a robot a strong feeling of presence."
Designed to look human
Before Repliee Q1Expo, Professor Ishiguro developed Repliee R1 which had the appearance of a five-year-old Japanese girl.
Its head could move in nine directions and it could gesture with its arm. Four high-sensitivity tactile sensors were placed under the skin of its left arm that made the android react differently to differing pressures.

Scientists think that, one day, robots could fool us into believing they were humanThe follow-up has the appearance of a Japanese woman. To program her motion, a computer analysed the motions of a human and used them as a template for the way Repliee Q1Expo moves.
She can be designed to follow the movement of a human wearing motion sensors or to act independently.
"Repliee Q1Expo can interact with people. It can respond to people touching it. It's very satisfying, although we obviously have a long way to go yet."
Professor Ishiguro believes that it may prove possible to build an android that could pass for a human, if only for a brief period.
"An android could get away with it for a short time, 5-10 seconds. However, if we carefully select the situation, we could extend that, to perhaps 10 minutes," he said.
"More importantly, we have found that people forget she is an android while interacting with her. Consciously, it is easy to see that she is an android, but unconsciously, we react to the android as if she were a woman."

Boeing+Bmw - my weak savings account= a first class trip to the poor house..

The already luxurious Boeing 787s—which have beds, couches, and are designed for the super rich who fly everywhere—may get an even fancier upgrade. Boeing made a call to BMW's DesignworksUSA group to model them up a fancy interior for an imaginary super-rich Russian client in his mid-30s. The result? An interior that's more upscale luxury condo than the prison cell seats we're all used to flying.
In it, you've got a bar, many couches, beds, meeting rooms, stairs, some more couches, and even a place to house your BMW for when you get off. This is the way Bond would fly. If he could blow $15 million of his government's money on a poker game, he can afford a fancy plane

A must See Play..

Recycle your old toys please..

Unfortunately, you normally can’t just drop your unwanted toys in your curbside program bin. Toys are often comprised of several different materials, making them difficult to recycle.
Share the Love!
The best option is to reuse them:
Pass them along to other children in your family.
Donate toys to a local charity, school or church.
Check your local hospital: some accept stuffed animals and other toys.
Repair broken toys instead of throwing them out.
Make some money—try selling them online or at a yard sale.
E-Waste
Electronic toys are more and more common. If they are irreparably damaged, they should be recycled with other e-waste.
Batteries
If you are able, recycle the batteries used in your children’s toys.
Rechargeable batteries still contain heavy metals like other batteries, but they last longer.
Look for the batteries that have less mercury and heavy metals.
If you must toss them, dispose of them properly with a household hazardous waste (HHW) or similar program.
There are many different kinds of batteries, and they require different disposal procedures.
Recalls
Make sure to return recalls to the manufacturer instead of simply throwing them out. They may contain hazardous toxins.
PVC
Polyvinyl Chloride, or PVC, is often used in toy manufacturing. It is sometimes tricky to recycle PVC but you can use Earth911 to find the nearest drop-off.

Best superhero ever..

Bishop has the coolest powers. He can absorb all types of energy and redirect it towards his foes, bill collectors, and bad people of all kinds.. Also, he has the ability to time travel.

Here the Math:

"Powers and abilities
Bishop's mutant ability enables him to absorb all forms of radiant or conductive energy that are directed towards him and to release that energy from his hands. This power is passive, allowing Bishop to absorb energy at all times.
When he releases the energy, he can release it as many different types of forms, usually in concussive blasts or in the same form as he had absorbed the energy although he can emit microwaves as well. He can also store energy in his personal reserves for increasing his strength, endurance, and (to an extent) his healing. He also has enhanced durability, resistance to poison and injury and is a skilled marksman and hand-to-hand fighter.
His powers make it difficult to harm him with energy-based attacks; however, he can become overloaded from absorbing too much energy, though his upper limits are unknown, even to himself. He is, however, vulnerable to non-energy weapon attacks. If he were to be shot by a projectile weapon or hit with a crowbar, it could harm him. He carries guns that fire laser beams and plasma charges through which he can channel his personal energies.
He can "let his spirit go" as seen in X-Treme X-Men Annual #1. It's unknown if this is a mutant talent, or an ability taught to Bishop sometime in his life.
He has also demonstrated the ability of instinctively knowing where he is and the present hour and date even if asleep, first mentioned in X-Treme X-Men #1. Although being the great-grandson of Gateway, a mutant possessing extensive dealings with time travel, this aspect is not one of Bishop's mutant powers. Bishop's explanation is that due to training, he knows where he is at all times.[13]"

Old Fashion meets modern design..

During the month of December, colette decided to turn its store into basically a “cabin” of knitted projects. It’s the Winter season, so knitting only seems fitting. Three main groups/people decided to participate in this project. They include Wool & The Gang, Ketty Sean: Doll & Plush, and Aurelie Mathigot. Check out their bios and more pictures after the jump.
